NCCOR Youth Compendium of Physical Activity

The National Collaborative on Childhood Obesity Research (NCCOR) has released the first-ever Youth Compendium of Physical Activities. This compendium aims to help childhood obesity and physical activity researchers and practitioners estimate the associated energy expenditure of a multitude of activities that youth engage in. This five-year effort includes measures of energy expenditures of 196 youth activities ranging from sedentary activities to high energy activities such as running.

The webinar will highlight prevalence data on the increase in obesity in Latino children as well as explore the role factors such as behavior, culture, and environment play.
