Increase Number of U.S. Adolescents Receiving HPV Vaccine; CDC: Rates Still Too Low

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's July 25 Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report details a 2013 study that suggests only 57 percent of women ages 13-17 and 35 percent of men that age have received the vaccine against human papilloma virus (HPV). While more U.S. adolescents are receiving vaccines against the sexually transmitted virus, the CDC said vaccination rates for the infection remains too low.

MMWR: A look at seasonal flu vaccinations among pregnant women
