With a link between sexual and domestic violence to each other and other forms of violence, prevention must involve expanded partnerships across various sectors. To address underlying issues, partnerships should be formed across health and safety issues, sectors, and social justice movements. A new report, Expanding Partnerships and Linkages: Key Directions in Sexual and Domestic Violence Prevention, by Prevention Institute and PreventConnect explores ways to do this, utilizing the rich expertise and experience shared in the 2016 PreventConnect web conference series. This report aims to lift up the long-standing national community of practice as a valuable vehicle for fueling innovation in prevention.
