CityLights is CityMatCH's quarterly newsletter, published under a cooperative agreement with the Maternal and Child Health Bureau/Health Resources and Services Administration and distributed nationwide by CityMatCH. As CityMatCH’s Executive Director, I am pleased to bring you this issue celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the Perinatal Periods of Risk (PPOR). For over twenty years, CityMatCH has strived as an organization to reduce health disparities and translate the science of public health to practice. PPOR has played a key role in our history by demonstrating that addressing feto-infant mortality rates in a way that empowers the community and utilizes the available data is not only possible, but achievable.
