PPOR WORKSHOP

Tuesday, December 8th, 8:00am - 12:00pm

CityMatCH will offer a complete Perinatal Periods of Risk (PPOR) training workshop, free of charge, as part of the MCH-EPI Pre-Conference Trainings coordinated by AMCHP.

All six stages of PPOR will be covered (Readiness, Data and Assessment, Strategy and Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Investment), with an emphasis on Phase 1 and Phase 2 analysis. Presentations from community PPOR users will provide real-world examples of how PPOR facilitates systems change. We find that communities benefit most if they send more than one person to the training.

The workshop will conclude with an optional 'User Consultation' session in which attendees will be joined by experienced PPOR users to discuss successes and challenges, and how CityMatCH can best support and assist them with future trainings and resources.
