Mission
Provide capacity-building education and training services, technical support and peer exchange to our CityMatCH members, organizations, and leaders.
Current Areas of Focus
- Developing and enhancing the Contra Costa County Life Course Toolkit to be housed on the CityMatCH website
- Shaping opportunities to connect family planning and MCH
- Developing new training initiatives, such as data use capacity building trainings
Member Benefits
- Interacting and networking with skilled national MCH professionals
- Shaping the education and training opportunities offered by CityMatCH
- Increasing knowledge and understanding of MCH issues affecting programs and leaders
Member Expectations
- Participate in all sponsored ETAG activities (monthly conference calls, annual conference)
- Share feedback, products, results, and experiences between calls
- Help shape, implement, and evaluate CityMatCH educational and training initiatives
- Make contributions and provide feedback on the development of materials and best practices related to education and training
- Translate research and science into local public health practice
